各位在湛的外国朋友：

       当前，境外新冠肺炎疫情仍在不断蔓延，国内多地散发新增本土确诊病例及无症状感染者。2021年春节将至，为有效降低因人员流动、聚集等导致病毒传播的风险，确保大家度过一个健康、平安、祥和的节日，请您注意如下事项：

       一、做好个人防护。坚持戴口罩、勤洗手、常通风，保持一米社交距离，严格遵守有关防控规定。如出现发热、干咳、乏力等症状，及早到就近的发热门诊就诊，途中尽量避免搭乘公共交通工具，佩戴好口罩。

       二、避免人员聚集。尽量避免参加大型聚集活动。节假日尽量减少串门、聚餐等聚集性活动，如必须前往人流密集场所、通风不良场所和医疗机构等三类场所时，注意做好个人防护。提倡家庭私人聚会聚餐控制在10人以下，并使用公筷公勺，做好通风和个人防护。

       三、减少外出旅行，尽量留湛过节。提倡在湛过节，合理安排活动，减少外出旅行，非必要不前往中、高风险地区。在湛高校、中小学、校外辅导机构、托管机构和幼儿园的教职员工、学生和家长，寒假期间非必要不离湛，确保新学期安全正常返校。

A Letter to Foreign Friends in Zhanjiang

Dear foreign friends in Zhanjiang：

      At present, the Covid-19 epidemic is still spreading abroad, and there are newly confirmed sporadic cases and asymptomatic coronavirus carriers found in many places in China. As the Spring Festival of 2021 is approaching, in order to effectively reduce the risks of virus transmission caused by the flow of people and gathering, and ensure that everyone has a healthy, safe and peaceful festival, we would like to kindly remind you of the following points:

      I. Take proper precautions for yourself. Wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, keep good ventilation, adopt one-meter social distance practice , strictly abide by the relevant prevention and control regulations. In case of any symptoms of fever, dry cough, fatigue, please go immediately to the nearest fever clinic for medical treatment, wearing a mask and avoid taking public transportation on the way.

      II. Avoid group gatherings. Try to avoid participating in group gatherings and activities in crowded areas. Reduce unnecessary parties, banquets, in-person visits during the holidays. Take preventive measures when you have to go to places with crowds, poor ventilation or medical institutions. It is recommended that there are no more than 10 people at family dinner or parties, with requirements of serving chopsticks and spoons, as well as good ventilation and self-protection.

      III. Reduce travel and try to stay in Zhanjiang during the Spring Festival holiday. You are suggested to stay in Zhanjiang for the Spring Festival holiday, arrange activities properly, reduce travel outside, and avoid travelling to medium or high-risk areas unless you have to. Teaching staffs, students and students' parents of higher institutions, primary and secondary schools, after-school training institutions, childcare centers and kindergartens are urged to try to stay in Zhanjiang (Don't travel unless absolutely necessary) during the winter holiday to ensure a safe return to school in the new semester.
