近日，广东省大型新编历史雷剧《陈瑸》，荣获2022意大利罗马电影节“亚洲最佳戏剧奖”、该剧导演陈才荣获“最佳戏剧导演奖”。据了解，此剧是本届电影节中唯一来自中国的戏剧作品获奖，也是地方戏剧广东雷剧首次走出国门获得国际殊荣。

Recently, a grand theateratical new historical Lei Opera Chen Binwon Best Asian Drama at the Rome Film Awards 2022 in Italy, and Chen Cai, director of this opera won Best Drama Director. The Lei Opera Chen Binis the only Chinese drama that stands out at Rome Film Awards 2022 and it is the first time that such a local drama---- Guangdong Lei Opera wins an international award.

　　广东雷剧《陈瑸》以当地家喻户晓的历史廉政清官陈瑸为题材，讲述了陈瑸在台湾任知县期间的故事，塑造了一个勤政爱民，革新吏治、维护国家和民族统一的廉吏清官的形象。该剧由广东省雷州市委宣传部、市文广旅体局承办,雷州市名城雷剧团出品，陈乃明编剧、陈才导演，吴兆生作曲。

Guangdong Lei Opera Chen Bintakes Mr. Chen Bin, a well-known local upstanding and clean official in Qing Dynasty, as the theme. The opera shares stories of Chen Bin as the chief of Taiwan, presenting an upright and clean official who works diligently and always cares for the people, improves the rule of governance, and maintains integrity of the country and the nation. The play is organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Leizhou Committee of Guangdong Province and Leizhou Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, produced by Leizhou Mingcheng Lei Opera Troupe, written by Chen Naiming, directed by Chen Cai, and composed by Wu Zhaosheng.

　　据悉，4月底开幕的纽约电影节上，雷剧《陈瑸》已经收到邀请，其作品视频精彩片花将在纽约电影节四个区域不断轮播，让更多海内外观众通过优秀的中国作品对中华文化和中国故事有着更深的理解和认同。

It is reported that the troupe of Chen Binhas been invited to submit theatrical trailers for playing by turns in four halls at the New York Festival, which would take place in late April. That will enable more audiences at home and abroad to develop a deeper understanding and recognition of Chinese culture and stories through excellent Chinese works.

　　据了解，广东湛江地区约有100家剧团活跃在民间，对当地的文化普及提高群众的文化素养起到了积极的作用，《陈瑸》的获奖再一次推动了当地文化建设的发展。雷州市雷剧团团长谢岳代表雷剧首次拿到国际大奖后，他激动地表示：“我这一辈子的努力就是要把雷剧发扬光大，我没有白活呀！”

There are about 100 folk opera troupes active in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, which have played a positive role in promoting the local culture and the artistic appreciation of the general public. The award-winning opera Chen Binhas again boosted the local cultural progress. “My lifelong efforts are to carry forward Lei Opera and the efforts are not in vain”, Xie Yue said excitedly, the head of Leizhou City’s Lei Opera Troupe, after receiving an international award as the representative of Lei Opera.
